rrlITE annual show of the Smithfield Club, generally _L referred to as the Cattle Show, opened yesterday (Monday) at the Royal Agricultural Hall, Islington, London, N., and will remain open until Friday next.
This show is one at which certain manufacturers in the commercial-vehicle trade, and particularly that section concerned with the production of steam wagons and tractors, take an active part, and, as in past years, a number of vehicles and appliances of direct value to agriculturists in general are displayed. These not only include machines which are suitable for road haulage, but also others which can be employed with considerable advantage for a variety of tasks On the land.

All the abOve exhibitors are to be found on the ground floor in the main hall.
There are no exhibitors of transport vehicles and powerliropellecl agricultural appliances in the Gilbey Hall, although certain accessories and equipment of value to users of such machines are to be found on some of the stands.
In the galleries of the large hall will be found the stand of the Eagle -Engineeriiag Co., Ltd, (254), and the International Harvester Co. of Great Britain, Ltd. (256).
