• An increase in bus fares on over 100 services in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire is planned by local companies. The Midland General Omnibus Co. Ltd., Langley Mill, Derbyshire, the Notts and Derbyshire Traction Co., and Mansfield and District Traction Co., have applied to the East Midlands Traffic Commissioners to make increases varying from Id to 4d.
