EASTERN NATIONAL, part of the National Bus Company, has promoted lan Banwell to assistant traffic manager.
He is based at Chelmsford and succeeds Arthur Townsend who was recently promoted to traffic manager.
Mr Banwell was district traffic superintendent with Eastern National for the past six years. He joined NBC as a senior management trainee in 1968 after holding various positions with Potteries Motor Traction and was involved in the dial-a-bus scheme in Milton Keynes.
