MR. E BUSZARD, traffic manager (operating) of the Western National Omnibus Co., Ltd., Southern National Omnibus Co., Ltd., and Royal Blue Services, Exeter, is to retire at the end of this month: He joined the National Steam Car Co., Ltd., 42 years ago, when it started running buses in London, and he became traffic superintendent in charge at the Peckham and Putney depots. In 1919, Mr. Buszard started services in Stroud, Glos., and he claims to be the pioneer of the present Western and Southern National network in the west of England. He will be succeeded by MR. E. F. HORGRIN, a former 'officer of the Road Passenger Executive.
