AN improved type of ticket-issuing machine devised by Mr. George Gibson, a former superintendent of the Stockwell works of the London Transport Executive, where such machines are maintained, has been taken over commercially by Ticket Equipment, Ltd., Tring. A number of hand-made models has been in experimental use with the L.T.E. for some months and the firs1 production types are due for delivery
The machine weighs 4 lb. and can print 300 tickets before needing a refill. It is said to be especially suitable for the Executive's requirements.
