FRASERS COACHES, of Elgin and Forres, which has been operatinc for 18 years and has seven coaches, closed this week. Company chairman and managing director Joe Fraser said: "thi decision is due entirely to the current economic recession. Businesr has been falling off, and bank interest rates have been so high ove the past few months that it is just crucifying everything."
Frasers, which at one time operated public services on rura routes, was one of the principal private coach hire firms in North east Scotland.
