WALLACE ARNOLD has fulfilled expectations by pulling out of the British Coachways consortium to go it alone on its London/Yorkshire and Yorkshire/West Country express routes (CM October 17).
In a bid to go more up market, the services have moved from the British Coachvvays London terminal at King's Cross and will now operate to and from the Royal National Hotel in Bedford Way, which is situated between Russell Square and Euston Station.
The London/Yorkshire route will in future be operated non-stop by toilet equipped coaches. However, on Devon and West Country services, coaches will still make a comfort stop and will be equipped with a number of tables with games to help passengers pass the time.
