• Many UK companies could halve their warehousing needs if they tightened up on their distribution systems, claims Joe Stephenson of Lynx Express Delivery Network.
"Most companies have not caught up with the just-in-time concepts operated effectively by multiple retailers," he says. "The slick system where lorries are delivering to fill up the shelves as the stock is leaving just does not happen anywhere else."
