• The National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham has ordered a Teletender fire appliance made by Telehoist of Cheltenham.
Based on a GMC 4x4 chassis, the vehicle is powered by a 6.2-litre vee-eight diesel and has a five-man all-steel crew cab. Additional equipment includes a 110-volt, five-tonne capacity power winch and a • telescopic light mast. Prices start at around £40,000, depending on the vehicle's specification.
