• A road transport subsidiary of Canadiar Pacific has been established to complemen the company's sea-route internationa container service. The new company CF Transport (London) Ltd, is commencini operations with 13 Atkinson Bordere tractive units and 32 Taskers skeleta trailers.
CP has chosen the same mechanica specification for the Atkinsons as for it: vehicles in North America; that is, 240 blm Cummins engine, Fuller RTO 9509i range-change gearbox and Eaton double reduction driving axle. In addition, CF ha specified Kysor automatic radiato shutters, a Lubrifiner oil-filter, allowinl oil-changes to be doubled to 12,000 miles four-way emergency flashers and a corn pletely removable electrical trailer lead
