Dunsley Manufacturing (Kinver) has produced a heavy-duty, nonsway support for semi-trailers transported on sea ferries.
The support consists of a 4in. diameter centre tube and four 1 diameter struts, all welded to an 18in. diameter x thick baseplate.
The movable portion of the support fits into the centre tube and provides a lift of 19in. — sufficient to cater for all types of semi-trailer.
Used in pairs, the support heads are designed to receive 4in. sq. timber baulks on which semi-trailers can be supported before being lashed to the deck.
Fixed handles provided as standard can be replaced by either a captive tommy-bar arrangement or other methods to suit individual requirements. Made by: Dunsley Mfg (Kinver) Ltd, Mill Lane, Kinver, Stourbridge, Worcs.
