the holding of regular monthly meetings for both goods and passenger operators in the Yorkshire Area of A.R.O. The object of these meetings is to enable the Association to maintain regular contact with all members, and responsible officials will always, be .in attendance. It is hoped thatMr. F. G. Ribbings will be able to attend many of the meetings. d
Modifications have been made in the sub-areas, and, as already announced, Mahon Sub-area has now been merged with Scarborough Sub-area. Wakefield, Bradford, Castleford and Skipton Subareas now form a section of Leeds Subarea ; Killamarsh Sub-area is now linked up with Sheffield ; Hemsworth Sub-area has been merged with the Barnsley and Leeds Sub-areas; Halifax will, in future, he part of the Huddersfield Sub-area, and Ripon, Harrogate and district goods operators will attend the meetings at either Leeds or York, whilst Ripon and district pas
sengetoperators are invited to attend the meetings at Leeds.

Wellington Hotel, at 7.30 p.m.' Doncaster, has Thursday in each month a.t Bay Horse Hotel, Frenchgate, at 7.30 p.m.; Huddersfield. second Thursday in each month at Plough Hotel, Westgate, at 7.30 p.m.; Hull, second Tuesday in each month at the Albany Hoorn, The Metropole Hall, West Street, at 7.30 p.m.; Leeds, firk, Wednesday in each month at Griffin Hotel, Hoar Lane, at 7.30 p.m.; Scarborough, third Friday in each month at [Irwin's Vale, Westborough, at 7.30 p.m.; Selilby, second Monday 111 each month at George lintel, at 7.30 p.m.; Sheffield, fourth Thursday in each month at Rack Swan Hotel, Snig Hill, at 7.30 p.m.; York, third Thursday in each month at Old George .Hotel, Foscgate, York.
