Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

/*-1 and Eurocard, who are operating the scheme jointly—is a breakthrough in commercial credit card activities in this country. The scheme, already supported by 2,000 garages, became effective on July I. Commercial vehicles and cars operated by companies carrying a Securicard will be able to have emergency repairs up to the value of £50 carried out immediately and on credit. Otie point of interest about the scheme is that Securicards are registered with vehicles and not with drivers.

In the past garages have found that they have been asked to carry out repairs to trucks and cars only to find that the drivers have insufficient cash to meet the cost. Having received confirmation by telephone to carry out an emergency repair from the owners of the vehicle, the garage may have had to wait for weeks or months before the settlement of the invoice.

When a Securicard holder asks for assistance from a Securicard agent/garage the work can be undertaken in the knowledge that the invoice will be settled within seven days from the date on which the invoice is received by Securicard. The cost to the agent is a deduction of 7 per cent from the invoice rendered for payment. Securicard takes all the responsibility for clearing the debt. The total number of garages expected to come within the scope of the credit scheme is 20,000 throughout the UK.

The first motor manufacturer officially to support this scheme is Vauxhall Motors Ltd., of Luton. 1,400 Vauxhall/Bedford dealers are being encouraged to join the scheme and the Vauxhall/Bedford support will become effective on September 1.
