FTA chief executive Richard Turner and vice-president Edward Roderick were in Downing Street this week to deliver Chancellor Gordon Brown a Bill of Works for motorway widening following FTA's recent campaign.
Livestock charges
A Welsh livestock haulier has been fined E13,000 for eight animal movement offences. John Richard Edwards, admitted the charges at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court.
Sales up
CV registrations rose 10% in June to reach an all time record of 35,952 for the month. Heavy vans accounted for 79% of the rise.
