FliOM the range of its standard pro_ ducts, this.company has selected for exhibition 7-cwt.' and 1O-cwt. vans, a lorry and a• covered example of the same type, as well as a special van intended for bakers' use. As is well known, this chassis is unique in that it employs a two-tylindered horizontally opposed water-cooled engine, the bore and stroke being 75.4 mm. and 101.5 mm. respectively. The capacity is 907.2 c.c. and the unit is rated at 7 h.p. The engine, clutch and gearbox form a unit, which is three-point suspended on hydraulic mountings in the frame.
The 7-cwt. van has a capacity of 88 cubic ft., and the type undoubtedly serves as a handy tender for use in conjunction with larger vehicles in a fleet. For those operators requiring a vehicle of slightly larger capacity, the 10-Cwt. van is of special interest. It has a capacity of 107i cubic ft.
The lorry has a body •which is 6 ft, 11 in. long and 4 ft. :8 ins. -Wide, tin.: actual platform area works out at 284 sq ft. The sideboards and tailboard with -which it is •erniipped are detachable. The covered lorry is virtually a dualpurpose vehicle, in thatit can be converted for use as a van or a lorry. It has roll-up side curtains above 12-in. fixed sides, as well as a-drop tailboard. The capacity of the body is 83 cubic ft., which includes 13 cubic ft. alongside the driver. Both the lorry and the covered lorry are built. far dealing with 7-cwt. pay-loads.
The special van built for bakers' use is a. smart-looking vehicle, which should do much to enhance the goodwill of its operator.
