ANYONE REMEMBER the old Road Haulage Association slogan “Without trucks, you get nothing”? Well, Dan Edwards knows that now too.
Who is Dan Edwards, I hear you cry? He’s the British Supercart Association F125 national champion. And he won the British F125 Supercart Grand Prix 2012. Frankly, the 27-year-old from Cheshire is what can only be described in a family magazine as a chuffing great driver. That is why Edwin C Farrall Transport and Palletforce have sponsored him this year – and ultimately helped him win.
“Earlier in the season, I was racing in Ireland and had massive problems with understeer,” said Edwards. “Edwin C Farrall Transport had the cart in straight away and fixed it before my next race.” And that is just another reason why road haulage is the greatest industry in the country.
