Less Surplus at Chester: Although the gross revenue of Chester Corporation Transport in the year ended March 31 last was £14.011 higher than in the previous year, increased working expenses resulted in the gross surplus being reduced by £1,015 to 1.22,113. Net surplus was £5,195 (6,307).
