Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A COMPUTER readout system has been developed for analysing tachograph charts by Smiths Industries Ltd. Called CTS, the system is able to scan the charts and accepts programmes prepared in collaboration with the user.

Included in the price is advice and suggestion on formating the analysed data. It also includes supply of the basic programmes, advice on the layout of the working area, installation of the complete unit, a repair kit and technical training for maintenance and operation.

Smiths are considering setting up a central installation to which smaller operators will be able to send their charts for analysis.

In the meantime Kienzle continues to develop its computer chart reading system and expects to bring this into operation within the next two years.
