Moscow's transport system is planning to handle more than 30 million people a day during the Olympic games — if they are held there. The underground railway is to be extended by 13 miles and train frequencies will be increased. Trolleybus and motorbus routes will be lengthened by a total .of 144 miles. Forty-seven special Olympic bus routes are planned and the left-hand lanes on bus routes to the Dynamo Stadium will be reserved exclusively for Olympic traffic.
I shudder to think what will happen if the Games ever come to London.
