THE PETER Lane Transport Group says contract hire is a growth area for them. Peter Lane, the managing director, said: "More companies want to concentrate their efforts on prospering in their own business area, and can see the economic and logistical sense of contracting transport requirements to a specialist supplier."
His company reports four new contracts in the Bristol area, with Ford Truck Rentals of Brislington, and Shell Oil, Daysels Foods, and Imply.
