REE men and a company, alleged to have conspired together to defraud Hill and Sons (Botley and Denmead) Ltd. of a sum of £15 3s. 10d, by false pretences between April 1 and May 31 last year, were committed for trial at Harnp5hire Quarter Sessions last week.
The accused are Herbert Alborough, 39, of Colden Common, near Winchester; Dennis Muller, 32, of Thornhill, Southampton, both lorry drivers; Gavis Traffic Services Ltd., of Southall, Middlesex, and the company's managing director, John Hewis, 39, also of Southall.
Alborough, Muller and Hewis were granted bail in the sum of £50 each. Muller and Alborough were also granted defence certificates.
