• A new A-licence for seven vehicles was granted to E. and A. Clegg (Whitworth) Ltd., in Manchester last week, and two vehicles will remain on the original B-licence for short-distance work and maintenance purposes.

BRS and British Railways objected to Clegg's application to convert nine vehicles from B to A licence but after discussions agreement was reached.
