SEDDON ATKINSON has introduced a simplified breakdown emergency scheme — SABRE (Seddon Atkinson Breakdown Recovery Emergency) aimed at improving its after sales backup to operators. Under the new scheme there is one telephone number to call out emergency services to stranded drivers in Britain. The service operates 24 hours per day, seven days a week and to familiarise operators with the scheme, windscreen badges with the SABRE telephone number — 01-574 3614 will be fitted in every vehicle. SABRE is a free service and is offered to all operators of Seddon, Atkinson, and Seddon Atkinson vehicles irrespective of age.
