OPERATORS ARE being urged to report anyone offering cheap alloy or steel wheels and tyres in the Nottingham area to the police, after the Nottingham branch of Keltruck was targeted by thieves.
The incident occurred between Christmas Eve and the evening of Boxing Day, when the site on the Riverside Industrial Estate was closed for business. Some 23 alloy wheels and 12 steel wheels, all
with tyres, were taken in the break-in, which was discovered by one of Keltruck's breakdown technicians on Boxing Day evening.
Thieves are believed to have gained access via a neighbouring property and only took items out of sight of CCTV cameras.
Keltruck has urged anyone with information about the raid, or anyone who has come across sales of cheap alloy or steel wheels in the area, to contact the police on 101.
