WHEN Mr. C. A. Whiteley, High Vir Street, Maltby, applied to the Yorkshire Licensing Authority last week to run a number of services, he was supported by Maltby Urban District Council, but opposed by the British Railways and Mr. T. Peel, Blyth Road, Maltby.
Permission to run to Chatsworth, Newstead Abbey and Sheffield was granted, but was reserved in regard to Matlock Bath, Nottingham, Belle Vue, Blackpool and Leeds.
