)ARTICULAR attention to users' needs has been given in the design several milk-delivery vehicle bodies ilt by Palmer Coachbuilder, Ltd., 96 cond Cross Road. Twickenham, iddx, on Trojan oil-engined 20-cwt. d Electrojan chassis.
Main construction is of folded 14-gauge steel sections, the flooring and panelling being of by On. interchangeable planks. Roof panels are of 18-gauge Alochrome. All alloy and aluminium parts are left bare: steel-toalloy surfaces arc treated with anti
corrosive paint, and the steel frame is cold galvanized. The body floor is mounted directly on the chassis frame. with anti-vibration packing strips. At the rear is a compartment, with sliding doors, for groceries.
In a day, a driver probably enters the cab 300 times, so that low steps and jack-knife doors are specified. The floor is of alloy planking, with easy access to chassis components. The vehicles are, quickly cleaned, afford a low loading height and lend themselves to ease of maintenance.
