In connection with our reference last week to the rule nisi obtained against the Minister of Transport to show cause why a writ of prohibition should not be issued to prohibit him from making certain regulations for the banning of coaches from central London, the various objections lodged against the proposed Order have, it is understood, been referred by the Minister to the London and Home Counties Traffic Advisory Committee. It is not likely, at the time of going to press, that any step will be taken by the Minister until the legal position with regard to the proposed prohibition has been made perfectly clear.
