P.M.G. Thorpe Ltd., part of the Britax-Excelsior Group, has developed a fully transistorized electronic interrupter unit for vehicle signalling.
As the unit is completely solidstate, it has no moving parts to go wrong or wear out and it cannot be affected in any way by road vibrations. The Series 150 is also claimed to be unaffected by fluctuations in voltage.
The unit is designed to maintain the flashing indicator impulses at a correct and constant rate on a vehicle coupled to a caravan or trailer or on its own, and can replace all conventional types of interrupters.
The unit complies with both British and European vehicle lighting requirements and as a further feature. incorporates a visible bulb-failure warning device.
It can be supplied in either 12 or 24V alternatives.
