GREATER Manchester Trans. port has increased its order foi Metrobuses to help plug thc gap caused by the death of tht Leyland Titan.
It has doubled its order with Metro-Cammell Weymanr and expects 160 by Mara 1983. Sixty are due in 1980-1 another 60 will follow in 198 12, with the balance of 40 corning the following year.
Of an earlier order for 30 Metrobuses, eight have already arrived, two are due very shortly. The remaining 20 are due in service by April next year.
