EXPOSED and expensive commercial vehicle batteries are a regular target for thieves, but now a specialist security company has developed a protection system to beat them.
The Motelarm CMA 545 CV alarm system features a sensor device which triggers a 'yelping' alert if either battery terminal is removed or if the cables are cut.
The system also protects the vehicle against forced entry and attempts to tow it away.
Commercial vehicles can be fitted with the system on-site by one of Motalarm's nationwide network of mobile security technicians.
