BUSINESS executives and officials of companies in the area of the South Bank exhibition are to be allowed free re-entry to car parks in the district. Season tickets are also to be issued. These facilities have been secured by the London and Home Counties Area of the Traders' Road Transport Association.
Following consultationS between traders and officials of the four railway regions and the Road Haulage Execu
tive, liaison has been established for the purpose of predetermining as far as possible delivery times of full loads, to avoid bunching and consequent waiting for entry to traders' premises.
The Association has put in hand a pocket-sized booklet containing maps of London to help drivers to avoid the most congested areas and to enter the South Bank district as easily as possible. The maps will cost 4s. per ,dozen.
