BRAZILIAN motor component manufacturers recently staged the first exhibition of their products in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The chief attraction was an Alfa-Romeo heavyduty lorry, a type which will be completely built locally in 1955 but at present incorporates 46 per cent. of Brazilian-made parts. Many other types of commercial vehicle were displayed, including large tankers built by Oficinas Reunidas Ernesto Trivellato.
