FHE Industrial Court has found that wages paid to Mr. R. E. Mahoney, lorry driver employed by the Octagon 1rewery, Ltd., Plymouth, are not nfair. Mr. Mahoney's complaint eferred to the 47-hour week of lorry rivers employed by the brewery.
The Court says it was not established lat Mr. Mahoney's remuneration was qual to that which would be payable nder a Road Haulage Wages Order. fin the other hand, it was not shown sat there was any agreement on wages s the brewing industry, or that Mr. lahoney's wage was lower than that aid to similar workers in the district r was lower than remuneration warded by a decision of the Industrial :ourt.
