• Kings and Co, of Glasgow, a member of the Tarmac-Derby group, has agreed to acquire the whole of the issued share capital of two Angus firms for a cash consideration of £825,000.
The firms concerned are the Cunmont Quarrying and Contracting Co Ltd, and D. Callander (Forfar) Ltd, haulage contractors. Negotiations for the deal have been in progress for some months. The two firms will continue operating under their present names.
