• Six firms were granted operators licences without objection at a sitting las week of the Licensing Authority a Kirkcaldy. They were: C and S Carriers Glenrothes; Robert Tarras, Jun, Ltd, Eas Wemyss ; Willi am Nelson, Kinross Whiteford and Co, Pittenweem; Rober Steele and Son, Methven: and Joseph B Paterson, Tillicoultry.
An application by James Wallace Lochgelly, for a carrier's licence wa refused on the grounds that insufficien evidence had been laid to show such licence was necessary.
