• A Sennybridge, Breconshire, transport firm was allowed by Mr R. R. Jackson, the South Wales LA, at Brecon on Friday to add one 4-ton flat articulated trailer to its A licence for general goods Great Britain. The company was also permitted to add one vehicle to its operator's licence.
J. C. Morris (Transport) Ltd had originally applied to add three articulated trailers to its licence but it amended this to one trailer following a meeting with the road-rail negotiating committee.
This led to British Railways and BRS withdrawing their objections to this application.
The other objectors, Argosy Transport Ltd and John Raymond Transport, were not represented at the hearing.
The firm's application relating to its operator's licence was unopposed.
