RUSES operated by West Hartlepool EP Corporation are now being cleaned during the day instead of at night, because for most of the day less than half the fleet is on the road. This was stated last week by Ald. T. A. Andrews, chairman of the transport committee, who pointed out that no cleaners had been dismissed. although two men who worked part-time at nights had handed in their notices. The new arrangement was an economy measure.
