• West Midlands-based commercial vehicle group, Ackers Jarrett, has made three new appointments.
David Rees is the group's new sales organisation manager, based at Walsall headquarters. He is responsible for all initial inquiries and quotations for contract hire.
Chris Shaw is southern area sales manager, and joins the group following nine years with a large main Ford dealership on the South Coast. He is responsible for the overall development of contract hire in the South.
Mike Preece is the new group marketing manager, with overall control of group promotion, market research and public relations.
He has 16 years experience in sales marketing in a variety of industries, including business and truck equipment.
