Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of Foden Service

AFTER a quarter of a century's work in connection with Foden vehicles, Mr. Frank Needham—head of Frank Needham, Ltd., Rugby Street, Broughton Lane, Manchester — has recently seen the old steam wagon disappear completely from his ken. Up to about six months ago steamers had still been coming into his service station, hut lately the work has been entirely on oil-engined vehicles.

The works at Rugby Street have now completed 25 years' service for Foden users and Mr. Needham has completed a similar period, although he did not come to Manchester until 1920, when he took over the existing Foden service depot at Rugby Street, after having had extensive experience on the sales and technical side of the Sandbach works and organization.

Since the depot is well situated for access from the trunk routes running into Manchester, regular demands are nowadays received for work on vehicles that have come in from Scotland, London and elsewhere, the machines frequently being left for attention while the drivers take their long rest period.

Spares for all types ot Foden are kept available and the extensive works, with their Foden-trained mechanics, are equipped to cope with any repairs.
