A SWITCH of passengers frc bus to taxi is worrying t Transport and Genei Workers' Union.
David Campbell, convener Dunfermline District Colin( general purposes committx said : "The union are worn!. about workers clubbing t gether to go to work by ta because this might put sor buses off the road and lead redundancies. They want meet us to discuss the licensil of hackney carriages."
Mr Tom Loughrey, secretal of the Fife Proprietors' Ass elation, said: "What is happe ing is that workers are gi ting together in .groups ai contract-hiring taxis. Becau of recent increases in bus far it is now cheaper for groups travel in a taxi."
