THE VEHICLE check system offered by the Freight Transport Association has been revised and expanded. It involves documentation designed to satisfy legal requirements relating to goods vehicle inspection, maintenance and costing.
The system includes major inspection and rectification forms for both vehicle and trailer, safety inspection forms, drivers' daily defect reports, servicing and job cards t gether with record wallets ax wall charts. Changes to tl system include the provisic of separate forms for traile and a service record car which enables work carrit out to individual manufacti: er's specification, and co data to be recorded.
