A gathering widely representative of the transport industry attended the inaugural meeting, at Nottingham, on November 6, of an East Midland section of the Institute of Transport, • Sir Joseph Nall, presiding, said that the proposed branch would comprise' Notts, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire, Officials elected were;— Chairman, Sir Joseph Nall: vice-chairmen, Rayner (Trent Navigation Cc);' Mr. .J.
