A pattern of mounting bracket for 25Ib dry powder fire extinguishers has been developed, primarily for oil industry use on spirit-carrying vehicles ;although it will readily lend itself to other applications.
The bracket locks the extinguisher firmly in place underts continuous pressure, by an overcentring device that is considered completely proof against vibration and shocks while the vehicle is in motion.
