Jackson, the present South Wales Licensing Authority and chairman of the Traffic Commissioners in the area, has in addition been appointed Licensing Authority and chairman of the Traffic Commissioners of the West Midland traffic area. Mr Jackson takes up his appointment on August 1 and succeeds Mr John Else, who is to take over the post of chairman of the Industrial Tribunal for Birmingham.
