WE regret to announce' the death of MR. CLARE CAMBAGE, managing director of the S.M.T. Sales and Service'Co., Ltd. He entered automobile engineering in 1923, and was general manager of Sherwoods, Darlington, 'before joining S.M.T. as Carlisle branch manager. He was appointed assistant general manager at Edinburgh in 1940. In 1943 he became general manager, and in 1949 was elected to the board of S.M.T. Sales and Service. He was 55.
