coach service from Birmingham to Karachi by the West Midland Traffic Commissioners (The Commercial Motor, June 7), a similar application has now been submitted to the North Western Traffic Commissioners for a similar service from Manchester. The application has been made by Mahmood-ul-Hassan Mir, Mohammed Ali . Chowdhry and Mahboob Alain Rasal (trading as Horizon Travel Service), of Downing .Street,'Manchester. It is proposed to operate four return journeys in a year, departing from Manchester in March, May, July and October. The journey is to take up to three weeks, travelling via -Dover, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Yugoalavia,. Bulgaria, Ankara . and Persia. The proposed fare is £69, single and £115 return. .
