• With sales to East Germany, Poland and Romania already established, the Truck and Bus Division of British Leyland Motor Corporation, hopes to add Hungary to its list of markets. It will be showing an AEC Mandator with V8 engine for the first time in Hungary at the International Trade Fair at Budapest from May 16 to 26.
The Mandator will be featured as a tractive unit for operation at 40 tons gross and the 272 bhp (BS gross) V8 will drive through a semi-automatic gearbox.
