Almost all the British and European chassis manufacturers displayed examples of their range at the exhibition, and from Britain, Duple showed two examples of its Dominant 3 body on Leyland and Ford chassis.
Plaxtons had its latest Supreme on Leyland Leopard chassis, and as well as the Plaxton and Duple-bodied Leopards, Leyland brought along its ticulated bus.
Volvo showed a B1OM chass in addition to a Plaxto Viewmaster-bodied B58 and Van Hool Alizee-bodied B1ON Van Hool representatives froi Belguim were present to sho: off their Alizee vehicles a Volvo and DAF chassis.
From the Iberian peninsul. the Basque-built frizar and M( seley's Caetano Alpha wer shown on Volvo and DAF chasi respectively. A rear-engine semi-integral DAF Jonckheer Bermuda, a left-hand-driv Kassbohrer Setra, and two righ hand drive MAN SR280 coache and a DAF MB260 DKTL chassi were also on show.
Ford brought along a Ford F Series chassis and a Plaxton bodied R1114 coach.
Jake Brake and Telma retarde equipment, Michelin tyres Ta chopac and Allen and Dougla uniforms were among the ancil lary exhibits, and coach in surance specialist Chapman Ste Yens brought along its Broke Bus — a lavishly equipped AE( Swift single decker converter into a mobile insurance office.
Outside, a line-up of vehicle: included two Mercedes-Benz De von Conversions minibuses an an assortment of demonstratior coaches.
