BECAUSE the Dyson Aeroride Continental tandam-axle semi-trailer has features which make it particularly suitable for conversion to the proposed new weight limits, R. A. Dyson and Co. Ltd., has decided to rename it the Aeroride New Loader.
'fwo new features are to be included on the model: alternative king-pin positions will be fitted as standard, but at the customer's option dual hinged pins, operated by remote control, can be fitted and the rear cross-member will be made easily detachable and will carry all lighting and signalling equipment so that it can be refitted as a unit on any chassis extension that is added.
The optional king-p:n position will be valuable if the operator wishes to rebalance the semi-trailer for new regulations being particularly important if the unit is lengthened. An existing feature of the model is that 4 ft., 6 ft. and 8 ft. frame extensions are available and, as the bog:e is a self-contained unit, it can be repositioned without difficulty.
