JOHN RATCLIFF, chairman of the Ratcliff tail-lift group, has been made an internacional ambassador of Variety Clubs International, the children's charity supported by show business.
Last year, he was chief barker of the Variety Club of Great Britain, during which he helped raise over 1:5 million.
He is also a council member of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers, a liveryman of the Worshipful C(mipany of Carmen and a trustee of the Carmen's Benevolent Fund.
